This month DW is featuring a ride owned by Jason Hardy, DW Production Supervisor, a 2016 Infiniti Q50 Redsport 400.
Jason has been with DeatschWerks for over 12 years now, pretty much since the beginning of time. He oversees all our in-house production and brings a great moral to the entire DeatschWerks team with his drive and positivity.
Jason has always liked cars, but he really became a car guy when he took a ride in a friends’ Mitsubishi Eclipse many years ago. The feeling of the turbo spooling up and hitting boost had him hooked instantly. Jason eventually picked up an SR swapped 240sx and became a Nissan fanboy for life.
With over 400 horsepower, a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and 4 doors, the Infiniti Q50 Redsport 400 is a nice mix between fun and practical. As a successor to the G35 and G37, Infiniti decided to take things up a level by adding a couple of turbos, a little more luxury and a much better looking exterior design. Jason took one out for a spin while car shopping and decided he had to have one.
The Q50 is stock for now, but Jason stated that he has plans for a few mods in the future including downpipes, AMS Heat Exchanger and a tune to give it a little extra sauce!
