MA Performance Tests the new DW301 in-tank pump
December 01, 2010
Modern Auto Performance, located in Plymouth Minnesota, recently completed in-car testing of the new DW301 in-tank fuel pump. The pump was tested in conjunction with a set of DW 1500cc injectors on a fully built 4G63 tuned on e85 fuel. Previously, the car had been maxed out on a 255 LPH pump and generated just over 500 AWHP. The DW301 pump was then installed and the car was put back on the dyno and made 600 AWHP. Also impressive is the fact that this pump was able to achieve this power on the stock OE fuel lines. The DW301 will be available for purchase in January 2011 and will retail for $169 including an application specific fitment kit.
300+ Litre Per Hour In-tank Pump Sets New Standards
November 08, 2010
There has long been a need for an in-tank pump that is quiet, reliable, ethanol compatible, and higher flowing than the currently available in-tank options. The DW300-series pump has answered those calls. Planned for release at the 2010 SEMA show in November, the new DW pump was designed and tested to meet each one of those needs. The DW300-series pump flows in excess of 300 litres per hour at 40 PSI and 13.5 volts. It also maintains its flow rate better than current pumps at higher pressure levels. To ensure long-term compatibility with ethanol-blended fuels, the pump was tested for 4,000 hours in 100% ethanol. This testing is equivalent to over 100,000 miles of driving! To further increase customer confidence, DW is backing the DW300-series pump with a 3-year warranty.
New products debuted at SEMA 2011
November 01, 2010
In their first year as a SEMA exhibitor, DeatschWerks entered two new products into the SEMA products showcase. First was their new complete line-up of Modern Muscle fuel injectors. The modern muscle line-up features four different injector designs to allow drop in fitment into all of the popular applications including LS2, LS3, LS7, Dodge Hemi, Ford 4.6L, and new 5.0L V8’s. Sizes available up to 95 lb/hr and, of course, every set comes flow balanced with the exclusive DW flow report. The second product submitted into the new product showcase was the DW300-series fuel pump. This is a 300+ liter per hour in-tank pump that was developed and tested for use with ethanol blended fuels. The pump featured a quiet and reliable turbine impeller and comes with a 3-year warranty. Both lines of products will be available through DeatschWerks distributors in January of 2011.
