DeatschWerks has expanded its fuel pump range to now cover Volkswagen and Audi 1.8t applications. Brand new for 2014, the DW65v fuel pump is the company’s first application-specific fuel pump for the European market.

Like the rest of DeatschWerks’ DW65 pump series (DW65c and DW65a), this “v” version flows 265 lph and can support 500 hp. The DW65 series of pumps are characterized by their specialty fitment, allowing 100% drop-in fitment for applications that don’t take a standard-size fuel pump. The DW65v has the same pick up points as the factory pump and utilizes a system identical to stock to maintain the bucket’s fuel level, avoiding fuel starvation at low fuel levels or in high cornering. All DeatschWerks fuel pumps come with an industry-leading 3-year warranty.

Product / DW300 Now Featuring 20% Flow Increase

DeatschWerks has redesigned the DW300 (V2) to offer greater flow with no significant increase in current draw. The new DW300 pump outputs a peak flow increase of 26% and an average of 20% increase across all pressures. The low amperage draw minimizes pump temperatures, maximizes pump life and reduces stress on OE wiring.

The increases in flow were specifically engineered for high pressures (60-90psi), where forced induction applications need it the most. Conversely, fuel flow has been limited at low pressures (30-50psi) to minimize heat generation in return fuel systems. This dual zone approach results in a flatter flow curve, which maximizes both performance and reliability for supercharged or turbocharged applications.

There has not been a price increase or a part number change for the V2 DW300. In preparation for the transition, V2 DW300 fuel pumps have been shipping for several months, so customers can be assured that recent purchase of DW300's are of the V2 design.

FUN FACTS! / Saturn V Rocket Injector Article

Heroicrelics.org wrote an article on the a fuel injector for the Saturn V Rocket. This engine would consume an Olympic swimming pool amount of liquid fuel in 10 seconds, getting around .6 to .7 feet/gallon.
